Archer

Hello,

This one started if as a study and because I really liked the pose I just started doodling more and more on top of it and this is the result. I hope it's not too dark. On my monitor it looks ok, but I haven't tested it on different ones. So please let me know if it's too dark.

Also I just wanted to let you know that I finally had the chance to look at Exodyssey, the art book from Steambot Studios, and let me tell you it was well worth the wait!!!
If you are into concept art or movie art books, get this one! Not only does it have lots of great art, it also offer lots of inspiration to draw from. These guys made it in their spare time and you can see the love they put onto all those pieces. I love how they collaborate as team members and it's something I definitely look forward to doing more of in the future.

So hope you are having a good weekend,

See ya,

Hangar Interior

hello,

Wow 600 views, time to celebrate!!

For the past month I have been working on and off on this interior. I don't normally do environments, but I am trying to get more into my portfolio. So this here is my first environment. Not entirely happy with it, I think it lacks a bit of mood, due to the light source that I chose and due also to the reflective floor.

I definitely learned a lot and will keep it in mind for future environments. Please let me know what you guys think!

more DW IV goodness

hi,

Here are some more thumbs I made for the DW IV contest. Not sure which one to choose. Trying to go for a Norm Invoker or Stalker. I like bits and pieces from here and there. This week I'll try to mix the things I like and come up with a story for the character. Any one you guys like in particular?

Any CC are more than welcome!

figure studies

hello,

here are a couple of quick figure studies I did today using references from www.characterdesigns.com. The middle one is the better of the 3, yet I need to add more color variations to them.

hello here's a portrait study I did today. It's been a while since I painted a lovely lady's face. So here's a new one for this week. I'm trying to get more oily or painterly brush stokes into my work. Enjoy!!

scott robertson planar surfaces studies

Hello,

Been trying to do some more studies this weekend. This time learning Scott Robertson's way of applying value and his rules of midway to black and form change = value change. I enjoyed doing that last one. Not so much worrying about the perspective but more about getting that 1,2,3 read.

Please feel free to leave a message even if it's to say hi!!!
