Archer

Hello,

This one started if as a study and because I really liked the pose I just started doodling more and more on top of it and this is the result. I hope it's not too dark. On my monitor it looks ok, but I haven't tested it on different ones. So please let me know if it's too dark.

Also I just wanted to let you know that I finally had the chance to look at Exodyssey, the art book from Steambot Studios, and let me tell you it was well worth the wait!!!
If you are into concept art or movie art books, get this one! Not only does it have lots of great art, it also offer lots of inspiration to draw from. These guys made it in their spare time and you can see the love they put onto all those pieces. I love how they collaborate as team members and it's something I definitely look forward to doing more of in the future.

So hope you are having a good weekend,

See ya,

F.Acosta

I really enjoy this character. Hes got a solid face, the line flowing from under the eye across the cheek bone and down to the masseter works really well.

Im a fan of your art I must say, always has great lighting, texture and design.

Hope to see more around soon!

That's awesome buddy. You were worried about it being too dark, but on my monitors I think its fine. Yeah its kinda dark, but it looks best that way! It gives good contrast with the rim lighting you did.

Thanks for the kind words Curtis, your blog is coming along quite nicely.

Thanks Joe, glad it looks good on your monitor as well :-)
