Fantastic Four Environment
Hi,
Here's a small sample of what I have been working on. I modeled the environment in 3D and painted over. I've added the rough sketch i did for lighting exploration.
The characters I wanted to play with their designs. Make their uniforms more astronaut like and also a hint of snow boarding. For Sue she is the captain so I gave her the red stripes and Ben i wanted to make for ape like and squared.
Let me know what you guys think,

Hi,
I was trying to learn to use 3s MAX at work, and so I decided to build a German occupied town in WWII. I know it's a touchy subject, so to set the record straight, I think that what happened in WWII was really horrible and I don't believe in what the Nazi's did.
I've always thought the red banners though, made for great graphical points of interest so I wanted to use that for these studies.
In order to push myself I wanted to draw a daylight and night time scenes building upon the 3D geometry. Zdepth was pretty fun and quite helpful to have as a channel selection.
I think I need to work more on my composition skills, get that foreground, mid and background to work a bit better. But I did learn a lot.
Anyways, hope you guys like it.

Pencil Sketches
Hello everyone,
It's been a while. I've been in South America on Holiday and tomorrow I'm happy to report that I will be back in Canada as a permanent resident!! That means no more visas, no more work permits!!! I'm super happy and looking forward to the freedom the residency will give me.
I haven't drawn with pencil since 2006 and with line since more than a year, so I had to get reaquanted with the pencil and the fact that there's no undo button while I've been here on vacation.
Still reading Fafhrd and the grey Mouser. Here are a couple of snow women sketches as well as a couple of vlana and fafhrd himself. Hope you guys dig them.
I draw with a 3H lead so sorry for the poor quality scans : /

Return to Lankhmar
Recently I've been reading Fritz Leiber's stories of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser stories and I really liked Mignola's take on the characters. So the other night while trying to play with color I ended up drawing this fun image. another fan art piece for you.
I really like this world, so I think I might explore it a bit more. Would make for an awesome movie.

hasbro submission
Hi,
This is a submission I recently did for Hasbro. As a kid I loved G.I. JOE. The characters, the vehicles, etc are still a huge inspiration for me. I would love to be involved with this property so I tried my own take on one of my favorite Joe's Alpine.
He and Bazooka were my favorite characters. Unfortunately I never got to have the 1985 toy, still looking for mint a condition one.
Anyways, here's some fan art for ya. Let me know what you think.

suki speedy
Hi everyone,
Will be going on vacation soon!! Going back home to Colombia to visit family and get some R&R. Really excited about it.
Today I did a simple speedy. Started with random brush strokes and this is what came out of it. Not really thinking too much just going with it. She ended up looking a bit like Suki, so hence the name.
Quite fun to do.
Anyways I'm off to the pool!

Gretel Thumbs
These are some Gretel Thumbs for my fantasy/post apocalyptic storybook idea. I'm thinking Hansel and Gretel being of African American descent and them being really tough warriors that go astray along the way in my story. here are some Gretel thumbs.
Let me know what you think. I'm also trying to add some pelota vasca elements to her weapons.
